February is often called the month of love. It’s a time to celebrate love in all its forms. But for many, it can be a time of focusing on what’s missing, what they’ve lost or never had. Some may shut themselves off from love because they’re afraid of getting hurt, feel unworthy, are grieving, or don’t believe they can accept love.

Here’s something important to know: What you focus on grows. If you spend your time thinking about what you don’t have, you’ll only feel more of that—more lack, loneliness, and sadness. The Law of Cause and Effect reminds us: “What we sow we reap.”
Here is the truth the Magic of Love is all around you. It’s in the world, in the people you meet, and deep inside of you. The universe is full of love and wants to show it to you. It starts with learning to love and accept yourself without judgment or self-criticism.
When you change you perception and willing to open your heart, you’ll begin to see love everywhere, in small moments, in people, in smiles of children and even in yourself. No matter what’s happening around you, love will find its way to you.
And when it does, your heart will feel lighter, happier, and full of joy.

Make a list of 3 things you love about yourself and your life every day. This will help you shift your focus to the love already present in your life.
Acts of Kindness
Simple ways you can express love to others, by saying a kind word, a smile, or give a helping hand. Giving love often opens the door to receiving it.
Self-Care
Practice to take care of yourself physically, emotionally, and mentally as this is an act of self love. For example, taking a relaxing bath, journaling, or meditating.
Affirmations
Believable affirmations you can use, such as: "I am deserving of love and open to receiving it. "or "Love is all around me, love surrounds me and flows through me, NOW"
Seek Connection
Reconnect with loved ones that you feel safe with, join social groups, or engage in meaningful conversations to experience love through human connection.
